Updated PDT Specifications: Whois Test Changes

ICANN has updated the PDT test specifications and supporting resources for Whois testing. The changes update the Whois tests to incorporate requirements described in the Additional Whois Information Policy (AWIP) and the Whois Advisory, published on 27 April 2015. A Whois self-test tool is in development and will be made available in December 2015.

The new specifications will be applied in PDT but applicants will be allowed to pass PDT with “warnings” if they do not meet the new requirements prior to the effective date of the Advisory, 31 January 2016.
